The entire Penitentiary complex is over 11 acres in size and nearly one mile around. This view is the outdoor spaces along the East wall. The ends of Cellblocks One, Ten, Two, Fifteen, Fourteen and Three are visible. In addition, the greenhouse, built sometime between 1900 and 1940, can be seen.
The greenhouse has since been restored.
