In order to see something in three dimensions, two views are necessary. It's why we have two eyes. What would happen if our left eye called our right eye "Xenophobic & Racist" and our right eye called our left eye "Stupid & Power Hungry"? They'd refuse to work together, and life would be ridiculously difficult - for no good reason. We have two eyes - and two political parties - to work together, in harmony.
