The songwriter Paul Simon once wrote “Fashion is just rich people waving at the door.” While I’m often not totally sure what he’s talking about, this photograph expressed to me what I thought he was saying - fashion is often a moving target, just when you think you’ve hit the mark - you find out it’s down the street.
